I’m planning on picking up a car from copart Their delivery estimate was $180, but i was only charged $120 for some reason. I’m in pennsylvania, and here the public can bid without a broker.

My experience with buying from copart and autobidmaster broker service i wanted to get a different car to use to drive uber/lyft and decided to see if i could buy something through copart that would suit my needs
My post here is to help others who may be thinking about trying to buy from copart but are unsure of the process
Fwiw, i am in texas. How do copart auctions work Anyone ever score a great deal Has anyone here ever used copart to buy a car
I'm a bit confused as to how it works I place some bids, and then it goes into a live auction, and then what Is there more bidding that goes on during the live auction at an actual auction What's the deal, amirite folks
I’ve been buying and selling cars from insurance companies for a while now but i’ve never seen a market like this one
I was the highest bidder on a salvage 2017 chevrolet silverado lt v8 2wd with bench cloth seats A base model and very boring truck Plus a 7.5% standard vehicle fee, $79 gate fee, $149 live bid fee, $20 mailing fee, and a $10 environmental fee It looks like the most established brokers who partner with copart are auto bid master, salvage reseller, and a better bid
Does any have experience with two or more of them to help us decide who to use? Copart sells to car dealers, dismantlers, auto body shops etc Yes they technically do sell to private individuals but its not really meant for that You end up having to hire a broker to put a bid on a car and then like in your case the broker fees basically double the cost of the car
I have used copart in the past as a hobbyist for getting project cars or parts source cars
How much do you know about copart Take all the headaches of flipping running cars and add in the very real chance that the car you buy is unrepairable The risk involved in a bad buy is very high If i were to buy from copart, it would be to disassemble and sell parts.
Copart truck in a box worth it My husband has been thinking about doing this program but is it worth it He's towed for them before with his current tow company so he knows how it works but we can't find much information on first hand experiences with the truck in a box program. I just purchased a 2012 audi s4 6mt from copart, but also purchased the shipping directly from copart since i only live about 40 miles away
