So people will read it, you can acknowledge something is bad while still appreciating that art that’s on display plus how else can we ever look into the mind of people who are sick in such a way as this if not through books, movies, etc?
I knew what lolita was before i read it I knew it was about a sick, evil man falling in love with a little girl and taking advantage of her after her mother dies But i think going into the book with this knowledge actually made it more difficult to come to terms with. My lolita dress, lolita wardrobe, and chinese lolita updates are ones ive used and recommend to those who dont use shopping services
I've finally got around to watching this film and i'm shocked by how much i felt moved by it.fair warning, this is going to be spoiler heavy but then i suppose that's expected here Regardless, you can't really spoil this film, it's about interactions not plot. Truei recently watched 'lolita,' (1997) and the film deeply resonated with me, in connection with lolita's character It drew parallels to some of my favorite movies like 'call me by your name' and 'midsommar,' as they all fall within the category of films with intricate plots that evoke sympathy for the characters who might be perceived as 'evil’
