The contrast is quite big I don't think that yuqi being close to shuhua is surprising at all tbh, they have nothing to do with their countries politics and just happen to be born and raised there I believe if she was in a bigger, less stacked group, she would blend in more

She's an excellent variety show guest, and she manages to make miyeon and soojin (probably the shyest members) stronger by association, which is really good.
Maybe because she was surrounded of powerful voices like minnie, miyeon and yuqi or barely noticed because soyeon and soojin were a force to be reckoned on stage and it was hard for many to notice her when they were dancing and singing circles around her. Unlike the other members who are all good vocalists, shuhua does seem to struggle with vocals the most At the same time, shuhua's achievements get dwarfed because people constantly see improvements in other members who are already good at their vocals Yuqi is literally pushing shuhua at every chance in this comeback to show off more.
Literally, now shuhua has to halt all activities due to health issues It was already a red flag that at first 3/5 of the members were sitting out, but at this point, the entire group needs to halt promotions Things like colds and flu’s are more likely to happen since we’re just coming from december. Love this shuhua appreciation and i came to this sub today specifically to talk about her after watching their music bank performance (which imo has better styling than this m countdown comeback stage)

I was one of those who considered shuhua one of the group's weak links in their early years, but she is absolutely dazzling in this comeback.
Shuhua, as i've mentioned in my own comment, is a stan attractor Her youthful personality, sassy speak, and beauty are all things that attract different kinds of fans to the group There's something for everyone among these 6 girls and partially why they've done so well thus far compared to other groups from similarly tiered companies. Seeing shuhua not in there hurts
But nevies asked for promo and this is what we have to live with I would have loved if miyeon would have pulled out the sun shuhua from the fanmeet while soyeon rapped her part but i think this was before this filming. I genuinely believe we need more idols with shuhua's attitude in the industry, in the way that she is never afraid to speak up for what she thinks is right, and i also do believe that she works very hard on her skills.
