I intended to take a bunch of pictures and make sure i document my experience installing the sniper on my scrambler The cj 5 unhooked and rehooked a couple of times, hooked them up and never unhooked again as long as i owned it. I probably did not get enough pictures or take enough botes, but here goes

To start off, i replaced a holley 4bbl carb mounted on an offenhauser intake
Is it more carb than.
Ok, last week had a rough night and ended up blowing the fusible link that comes off the solenoid Went back the next morning and fixed that, and when jeep fired up i noticed my fuel lines were cracked coming off the filter (stock 1 inlet, 2 outlet) Just bought a 1983 scrambler and doing some restoration to it I want to get 35's on it but need to add a lift kit
I have been told that skyjacker has the best ride but also should look at old man emu Need some experienced scramblers with some advice on these lift kits with the softest ride. Looking at getting the bds 2.5 lift kit for the cj Bds recommends upgrading to the yj spring conversion kit for improved ride (wider springs and less friction)
Anyone have any experience with this
Is it worth the extra $400 or should i just stick with the cj kit Dedicated to complete builds, rebuilds and restoration threads from start to end. Is the body off the frame on either one of those Can you check dimension n k and j for me too?
My last scrambler had a tired 4 trail master suspension lift with a 1 body lift and had room for 35 bfg mts, but i had to use extended bump stops to keep the spring compression in check My current scrambler is soa, but i'm in the process of reverting the rear back to sua, while keeping the front soa Had alcan 4 on a cj 5 loved them rode way better than the scrambler As for sway bars i had disconnects on both
The scrambler i unhooked and rehooked a couple of times unhooked and removed the sway bar
