Is quantum fiber any good I dropped my spectrum cable internet subscription immediately after getting connected to fiber. I'm a quantum fiber technician based in colorado, with around a year of experience installing this equipment

Allow me to share my honest perspective on quantum fiber
We use smart nid (ont) and wifi 6 pods (routers) for our installations.
Quantum was brand new and trying to get customers to join At that time cox was the only fast internet service in our area Cox is probably the most vile company that i've ever felt with so we made the choice to switch over to something new At the time i think quantum was still technically centurylink with their fiber internet branded as quantum.
But even them pretending to be their own thing has definitely made the experience significantly better than i'm used to, have gone between comcast/xfinity and centurylink. I have had quantum fiber for about a month or so now I have the cx6500 and 3 q9500wk pods placed around my 1500 sqft home (1 on main floor in central location, 2 upstairs on either end) and all are connected with wired backhaul I know they are wifi 6 only and quantum only has ipv4
But the internet connection from these pods is consistently unstable and always disconnecting
Just throwing together a little blurb about my experience with quantum (moving from xfinity) In general, setup was easy Tech came in, ran the line ota and then to my house, where the smartnid sits in my wife's storage room This was not my favorite place to install but the tech insisted, so i ran cat6 downstairs to my office where i actually need the bandwidth
Hey all, i woke up this morning and saw an ad for quantum fiber's 940mbps download/upload speeds for only $75/month Is quantum fiber different from centurylink fiber Most people in my neighborhood have centurylink fiber I signed up more recently and have quantum fiber
From what i understand, i'm connected to a different server than them, either due to the fact that i am using 940 vs 200mbs speed or because i'm on quantum and they are centurylink.
Fwiw, i've had this quantum 3gb fiber service for two weeks now and i'm very happy with it Installation went well and the connection has been rock solid
