How to make a groupme through canvas

I want to create a groupme chat for my classes this summer I didn't know how to do it through blackboard, but i especially don't know how to do it through canvas (doesn't seem anyone else does either since no one else has made the chats lol) From my experience, groupme is awful and annoying My classes have all had one and a discord, but these were cleared with the professor first.

It then took me to a page to fill out my personal information like name address and credit card info.

Groupme was a startup acquired by skype (and then skype was acquired by ms) The w10m client is better than the wp8 one was, though still not yet on par with the ios or android apps. Love the calendar integration & photos/document storage I've used groupme in the past, works just fine, i just like the added features from teamreach
