I highly doubt that he tests on things not covered in lecture or in the book, thats just people coping
Whats more likely is he has things from lecture and from the book, so make sure you pay attention to both

She now has several bad reviews on ratemyprofessor and trust that they are accurate I am taking one right now who has a few bad reviews She’s not terrible but she is kind of annoying tbh I’d honestly avoid those with bad reviews if possible, just don’t take the risk because a bad professor can really ruin the whole class.
