I never used to have to change to edge to go to bing.com sites There's a program on github called explorerpatcher, with this tool, you can finally undo microsoft's changes to explorer, and run explorer from windows 10 or windows 7, including making adjustments to the taskbar and other things explorer does I could reach them on chrome as well.

I go to about:config and change all the settings to google and remove all that direct to bing etc I restart firefox, still on bing, go to about:config again and weirdly all settings are as i left them, all set to google.
