I use vlc not only for videos but also for presentations and it kind of ruins the setting to see the filename show up when i'm trying to present something professional. Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this The audio then plays, but no video. The problem is not specific to vlc I attempted to tinker with some of vlc's settings (notably audio output module, audio resampler, and the caching options under input / codecs) in the hope of resolving the problem.
The preview handler gets reinitialized You'll see your previews in explorer again
