I was previously on an idr plan
I submitted an application to switch to save in august
I received a confirmation email that my application was submitted and being reviewed Your overpayment will be applied towards the interest for the next month The only way around this is to figure which of your nelnet loans/groups have most of the interest paid up, so that you can start paying that principal. Truei have this same benefit and status on my loans, but i’m not in the military
Yesterday i received an email from nelnet around 3pm cst stating my refund had been issued and that i had 24 hours to change my dd method if i needed to In your experience, how soon after you received this email did you get your deposit Got 24 hour email around 2pm cst on 7/6 Received my deposit around 9pm the following day 7/7.
Called nelnet to get a refund, was told to call fedloan as they were the one i made payments to
Called fedloan, they told me to call nelnet as they are my new provider Been on hold with nelnet for an hour On hold, wouldn’t provide direct number. Nelnet doesnt allow weekend payments
What a shitshow of a company loan a, daughters loan has a due date of 10/15, a sunday She logs on and cannot choose today 9saturday or tomorrow, the due day (sunday) if she chooses monday the 16th it states that you are choosing a date past your due date And no custoemr service lines open on a weekend Nelnet has been handling the ramp up to the pause ending very poorly
I made a two payments in the past two weeks for a total of $11,250 and nelnet is reporting a credit balance increase on an installment loan
The customer service is bad, the site navigation is bad, and now they are screwing up people's payment plans and payments. I just logged into nelnet and my account shows paid in full I don’t meet any of the criteria for loan forgiveness so i know it’s not true I had all my loans consolidated last year and credit reports show the new consolidated loan
I’ll check on my account later today Nelnet is the gift that keeps on giving
