Gem platform shall provide additional features such as buyer and seller rating, tools to establish price reasonability and demand forecasting to help its users make more informed decisions. For the officers belonging to organized group a services handling public procurement, one additional year (total 10 years) shall be allowed as deputation tenure Towards this, the central government buyers are now required to obtain a gem availability report and past transaction summary to take informed procurement decisions.
Normal deputation tenure shall be 7 years which may be extended for 2 more years for deserving candidates at the sole discretion of ceo (gem)
