First 2 digits are supposed to be the week, second two the year At this point, it is likely they are still fine I think i've learned from capri and others here that a crack in this area means it's time for the tire to be taken out of service

I've seen this a couple of times now Michelins with incomplete dot date codes I saw some tires on a wrecked saab a few days ago I assume they were from the same lot
One tire had a full date code, indicating the tire was from 2017 The other tires were identical, but had incomplete codes. Some people hold michelin tires in high regard, i will never use them again As with everything bitogo opinions vary
For me, these tires are at approx 50% useable life

H is the speed rating for the michelin 98 is larger than 94 That means the michelin can handle more weight. My gm dealer informed me that michelin recognized that there was a premature wear problem with these tires (you can read more poor reviews about these tires on tire rack and on consumer reports)

These are michelin primacy a/s. The tires are now in their 7th year, plus is showing signs of typical michelin quality
