But i cannot install the same map version (used install on computer in garmin express) to windows 10 pc for use of the map with garmin basecamp
I am aware that i can plan routes with the.
I have read support pages showing how to change region using the change map button above the reinstall map button in garmin express Unfortunately i don't have the change map button in express, see screenshot below I am using garmin express 7.13.1.0 on windows 10 i have an empty 16gb sd card inserted. I installed this new version
It was not a forced update from 7.18.1.0 Info is in release notes above Resolved an issue with tt 15 mini dog collar devices not being detected Resolved an issue with sd cards for kenwood devices not being detected
Resolved a crash specific to windows 7 that could occur when launching garmin express
Windows 7 and windows 8 are no longer supported I know that you should be able to update maps faster through garmin express, but express never shows or downloads the map update I have tried reinstalling the maps through garmin express, but this doesn't help I still get asked if i want to start downloading maps over wifi when i plug the watch in
Anyone else have this issue, or know how to. I installed 7.18.1.0 and it was a forced update (critical update) from version 7.18.0.0 that i had installed Info is now in release notes above Resolved an issue with activity files being deleted from a device after being synced
These activities are synced and uploaded to garmin connect.
First of all check out whether the latest version of software (firmware) is installed on your watch If you can successfully connect to the watch with garmin express via the usb cable, try whether syncing works at least over the cable, and check also for the latest software update with it. Garmin express not detecting micro sd card part 2 this is part 2 of my post with regards to garmin express not detecting or recognizing an external micro sd card I don't think it is true that when garmin express detects it needs more space to install additional items it will automatically install it to an external micro sd card even though it doesn't see it
This applies to garmin drivesmart. To help some newer users i put together some info about dealing with problems It is an updated post from fenix 3 forum It is wise to backup the whole /garmin directory of your watch before doing anything else, as some of the files (maps for example) will not be restored from the fw file or by garmin express if they get corrupted or erased
