Incidental kills are possible but i don't blame the lease owners for trying to do something about the coyotes I am only in possession of 10 footholds Many leases and hunters are reporting steadily declining deer numbers and increasing numbers of coyotes.

Wondering if they would hold a coyote I would buy the red ones 20 long and make the spiral one 20 long by welding a rebar and sleeve and. Do you use coyote urine on all of your trap sets or just certain ones If so how much urine and when to refresh?
That shotgun will work fine You might look for shells with larger shot Even the smaller buckshot would be an option But the turkey loads you have would just limit your range
And i have several rifles with muzzle devises and they are loud
I just always wear amplifying muffs You get a slim pair and you get used to them. Please, ladies and gentlemen, let's not turn this into a thread on whether or not the 22 mag is the ideal coyote caliber I know there may be better and bigger rounds for taking coyotes at extended ranges, however, due to where i can hunt, the 22 mag rimfire will be my chosen gun for the task.
I have been trapping for a few years now I have caught all kinds of critters As we all know, coyote furs don't pull a good dollar if they aren't all furred up and pale These darks ones aren't desired as much

I’ve used fox + coyote urine from walmart/academy.and had good results.until they get used to it & recognize it as a red flag Then,i switch to cat urine,or a new (strange) coyote urine…and catches pick back up Yes,i have used regular housecat urine.and “droppings”…and it worked. Last september i set out a coyote trap and staked a 27 inch rebar stake into the rock solid ground
Well, i caught a coyote but ge pulled the stake out of the ground and ran off with my expensive foothills stuck to it Now i am paranoid that i will lose another trying to catch a yote In elbert county close to bowman on the broad river What do you'll think some one would charge to trap coyotes and how would they charge, would it be per coyote ??
I was listening to a podcast with mr zagger and he stated that he expected around 7 catches per 100 sets
So i suppose theoretically if he sets 100 traps on monday he expects to retrieve 7 pelts on tuesday
