The 2.0 t is a newer engine and probably works harder when the turbo fires up I was under the assumption that it was a tweaked ltg and i guess it still can be considered such even with the turbo on the other side The 3.6 has been around since about 2004, of course with upgrades and more hp, but it's in a lot of gm cars besides cadillac ie lacrosse, impala.

I test drove a 2014 2.0 turbo and it was an entirely different car
The 2014 was much more responsive and accelerated as i needed on the highway
I think the 2014 has a six speed transmission My 2016 has gm's home brew trans and it disappoints Actually i signed a deal on that 2014 cts 2.0 turbo. 2018 3.6 my current 2021 is 2.0 turbo
The 3.6 is certainly smoother, with the turbo you do get the typical turbo lag so if you punch it from a stop it does tend to kick in. Have a 21 premium luxury, all options except platinum package and super cruise The twin turbo v6 is well worth the $3500 over the underpowered 2.0 turbo Mine is garnet metallic with maple sugar interior
This is the only car i ever had where random people will stop and say how beautiful the car is
The ct5 is at its best when fully loaded. In the manual page 312 313 314 specification use full synthetic engine oils that meet the dexos1 specification Engine oils that have been approved by gm as meeting the dexos1 specification are marked with the dexos1 approved logo How many of you have had your 2.0t engine fail more than once
My car is 2014 12k miles total 3rd engine just blew up They are acting like no one else has this prob i've seen several people reporting multiple failures Please message me if you've had at least 2 failures. My current cts honestly feels twice as powerful and the extremely broad torque range of this engine is unmatched in my opinion.
One of the reasons i was considering the ct4 was the use of the 2.7l l3b turbo engine
I was most interested in the “premium luxury” application of the 2.7l as it appeared to be essentially the same engine used in the chevy silverado I opened the hood to confirm that it was the lsy 2.0t and was shocked to see the turbo on the left
