Lakers, steelhead and maybe even salmon would be the target, especially around two harbors The countdown is real for me as i’m heading up in a little over a week Maybe moreso pike and smallies in duluth harbor??

Once the temps cool down some more, i’m thinking of ice fishing the duluth harbor
Walking out from mn point near the airport
What type of fish is there to catch I’m assuming i need a trout stamp How's the ice in the duluth harbor looking Have never fished out there but am interested in giving it a shot
Also, where do people park and walk. Can set your lines right outside the harbor and start trolling back towards duluth The stretch from mcquade to the lester river should be productive, just need to figure out the depth (how far offshore) the coho are holding over. I was just looking at the web cam on the canal park grandma's kitchen and man, there's a ton of ice being pushed out of the harbor by the wind
Hi there, i am new to ice fishing the harbor in duluth mn, and i am just wondering if people are catching walleye through the end of the minnesota.
I know you’re referring to the harbor but i assume the op is referring to lake superior Ls is currently iced up from a little past 21st ave e to what looks like around wisconsin point or so (can’t exactly tell from my vantage point) Ls had about the same amount of ice formed yesterday morning and then as soon as the breeze picked up, all the ice blew out That “north shore” covers a lot of shoreline about 200 miles of it
Where are you planning or wanting to fish Going north from duluth on the scenic route, you start seeing signs on the left for tom’ logging camp after eight or so miles Start looking on the right at that point for stony point trail or road Take the stony point turn to the right
The first 1/8 mile will have some houses.
The trout bite on lake superior out of duluth has been rockin’ lately Lake trout and steelhead have had the feed bag on, along with the occasional salmon From the lester river, to silver bay, fishing has been above average and now is a perfect time to take advantage of it The weather is nice, the bite is on and the fish are plentiful.
Anybody know how the fishing has been on the harbor
