Skype deleted my msn messenger contacts hi there, yesterday i logged on to my skype account and noticed that all of my msn messenger contacts minus one person were deleted randomly
My skype has contacts from both msn messenger and skype accounts
I tried adding back a friend, but it wouldn't let me send a request. They were both automatically aligned with skype when the buyout happened. Luckily, my most important contacts were saved on the other mail client I have tried it all, and i still haven't found a way to recover my hotmail contacts
The weirdest thing is that, when i use skype for windows 8, i can still see all my old msn messenger/windows live/hotmail/outlook contacts. Messenger online status when i used hotmail outlook messenger to chat with my contacts on skype, i was able to send and receive messages when i was 'unavailable' so as to prevent the messages from popping up as it would distract me But lately, when i am 'unavailable' i was not receiving any messages from my contacts.
