In my opion, pltr is the next tesla
There was a time when tesla stock was 20 something, my friend told me to buy tesla stock and i laughed at him saying that ev is not gonna happen but i was proven wrong later on and tesla stock was in the hundreds
Some naysayers said ai stocks will go nowhere, but someday, its stock price will be in the hundreds. Most institutions won’t touch this stock until after pltr has had its best growth and is already slowing I think it was peter lynch who said something to this effect. Brother, i’m long pltr but average tech company eps is around 18 so in order for them to be $300 would require one of two things
1) grow their arr by 17x to $35 billion (currently at $2.13 billion) or 2) basically buy half the float out there which is a $200 billion buy back (currently only approved by the board for $1 billion). Pltr had revenue (q4 2023) of 608.4m, which was a 20% increase Palantirs commercial segment is just starting to take off Commercial revenue surged 70% in q4
If palantir can continue growing their commercial customers, there’s no reason that they can’t get back to a 30% growth rate
Stock will be crap for a few years… but data and ai will dominate how businesses and government are run in the future Pltr will have their day, but it’s not now, not in this market With that said, as someone who works in big data analytics, i wish my leadership would use their products because they are far superior This equal to 22,8% averaged annual returns over 5 years
