I believe that dolby vision on windows requires apps built using the media foundation framework which is what the windows store apps generally use, however kodi uses the desktop directx api's, so i don't think this helps with getting kodi to play dolby vision I did however read reapers instructions and comment above, so i ran web os dev on my pc connected to same wifi network as my lg c2 is and installed homebrew and kodi from the app list on web os dev app However i'm far from being an expert in this area

If i download a.zip file from a web browser and save it in the download folder kodi 20.2 does not appear in the download folder when i go to install from zip file, it's like there is nothing in the folder where i would have just saved a.zip too It's already a few months now since the last kodi 21.1 appeared.and there is nothing on the news section about kodi 22.0 (or kodi 21.2?) any news? I use mariadb on my synology to keep track of play progress on different devices (pc/mac/android tablet/nvidia shield) It worked fine with kodi 20.5 but broke with kodi 21 on android, causing kodi to crash when videos were played
