My intention with this post is to offer the community a quick review of daniel naroditsky's new jobava london course (see his newest vid on youtube) from a big fan of danya and chess. Each video looks like it’ll be around an hour long, and he’s going into lots of principles in specifics (this is the first video after the intro video). Nobody should ever doubt naroditsky’s love for chess, that man played hundreds of games online while sitting about 2 feet away from dina in a hotel room lol (and managed to win the majority of them)
Naroditsky is objectively one of the top blitz players in the world Bullet he is top 5 at least based on some of his matches In some ways it's kind of a grey area since 3.0 blitz is probably closer to bullet (in my opinion, at least) than 3 min +2 sec or 5.0 blitz, which are the normal increments for most otb tournaments. A while back i posted a google sheet with the openings played in every game in daniel naroditsky's superb speedrun series
These are a great way to learn about the ideas in various openings, especially the latest series
I've just updated this to make it a more usable, searchable database, with links to the timestamps of each game, you can see the new page here Danya naroditsky started to stream the match but was at 2.5 vs 8.5 i think he said, i need to focus on the match and games, let me go off stream for a bit.they played 72 games, and magnus won 46 and lost 18, with 8 draws Insane impromptu blitz match 3+0.
