I can find no mention of the dell support assistant on the machine anywhere Is there any hope for me Is there a way to get the support assistant? Dell supportassist good or bad???
Is it good or not really needed??? Sounds like a good thing, but how much slower will it make the computer??? Dell supportassist updated itself from v3.8.1 to v3.9 and it then tried three times to install recommended update supportassist os recovery but failed each time. Dell support assist can be uninstalled and reinstalled
The dell support assist is useful for drivers, updating bios, recalls, etc
So update drivers and bios before uninstalling the software. You do not need the dell support assistant If it is not on their website for windows 10/11, you do not and never have needed it. Dell support assist not wanted but needed
