We recently moved in and have not complained because that’s apartment living and we know they have kids and kids make noise.

They chose to put me in a unit above a bitter, elderly man. My neighbor installed a basketball hoop in the front of their house, and the kids are playing all the time, day and night, sometimes stop playing before 11:00pm The noise is really bothering me I talked to them, but they still keep playing

Neighbor noise disputes most communities have rules against excessive noise, and you can make a neighbor noise complaint if your neighbor is violating your local ordinances. I live in an apartment building in miami and since june 2020 my next door neighbor has been playing extremely loud music almost every day and i complained in writing to the management several times by email and text messages and i also called 911 to complain about noise so many times but so far nothing changed My building management did not do anything to stop this neighbor from making.
