Melph's is probably better overall but i would also consider Blessing staff (it triples doubles bless for casters) rain (extra create water, and than pocket it at end of combat) mourning frost (it turns a mediocre cantrip into something useful) overall It just doesn't synergize with anything else. What about a basic caster
Just get a staff to boost your spell attack/dc (e.g Melf’s first staff), and cast whatever feels good at the time You don’t really need specific itemized builds to be successful or have fun in bg3. Unfortunately, since i'm in act 1 i can't upcast to higher amount of missiles
Therefore i ask high lvl wizards/sorcs to check this interaction with higher amount of missiles and different variations
