Im trying to get the new version, i've had it before, i have no idea what's wrong May someone explain how to add a game that doesn't show in vortex mod manager, but has nexus mods I click the download button and absolutely nothing happens

In the vortex mods view there is a button or link along the top of the screen that is titled 'check for updates.' see attached screenshot. Everything seems to be installed properly and seems to be working in vortex (is enabled as mods and plugins) but the mods does not take effect in game and everything seems to be running vanilla with a few random tweaks here or there that has nothing to do with the mods.
Nmm is basically a gui for installing mods manually, which comes with a ton of drawbacks Vortex is a middle ground between nmm and mo2 which strikes a pretty good balance between managed deployments and being friendly to tooling Itβs also matured a lot over the years It is worth noting that nexus is working on the mod manager to end all mod manger right now as a replacement to all three.
