I went through the automatic process and got an incorrect information message So, apparently oauth is available for the old inbound.att.net servers as well I tried yahoo's instructions and they don't match what shows up in the account setup in thunderbird

Thunderbird won't login to att yahoo mail (with new suggested settings and oauth2 password) 2 replies 2 have this problem 83 views last reply by szappanos 5 years ago
All of a sudden, yahoo email is not signing on firefox on windows 11 It is working on other browsers on the same computer, and even on firefox on the mac computer that is running the windows 11 I tried all possible solutions but to no avail. Several days ago tb daily started asking for my att (yahoo) password
Tb initially rejected my password but i did forgot password and added exactly the same password back since it was working on att (yahoo) web mail. Att.net is blocking my access to att/yahoo email from my att.net account using firefox '''''''but not using chrome?''''''' i have stopped all tracking and cookie blocking something's gone wrong we may be having trouble with your connection Imap refer to yahoo!'s help page for imap server settings for yahoo mail I delete the passwords for inbound.att.net and outbound.att.net from the password manager, and thuderbird allows me to enter the new password, which works with the yahoo mail when i access it through my firefox browser, but it doesn't work with thunderbird.
Thunderbird can be used as a client for an at&t email account
Thunderbird will download messages from the at&t server and store them on your local system.
