I have the air mini, a dreamwear mask and a travel small hose I use it with the genuine resmed dc converter And it sounds like an aircraft carrier when i turn it on

The loud whooshing sound is coming from the mask
I have the heated hose and the air bipap machine and it’s near silent

It had rubber connectors and connects perfectly and is air tight I happily use my simplus mask with the airmini Kind of ironic that the workaround for the airmini comes from resmed itself! The resmed air mini looks looks like a good investment for my travels but why does resmed, wants me to ad humidification to my therapy Would it be foolish no to opt for the humidx and a buy a 3d party adaptor? I been using the resmed products since 2005.s8, s9 and have recently bought the new air mini. But am still trying to get it to work with my battery.i have a c266 battery that has been awesome for both the s8 and s9
