I'm having some troubles updating the maps on my discover media (gen 2)
I downloaded the latest discover care, downloaded the latest map and installed onto my micro sd card When i put the micro sd card with an sd adapter into the car it doesn't recognize that any navigation data is loaded Tech pack (discover pro nav and dynaudio) and advanced telephone connection this is on a mib2 (post bw22 2015) uk golf r. I pay my electric, cable, phone, gas and discover card bills online out of my checking account
I always pay as soon as i get the bills I was doing the vw update method straight onto the sd card for the pro version but then vw always rolls that out after the traditional method of doing it On that basis i stopped using the discoverycare approach You had to update the software for each round of map releases which was pretty stupid
The household has the seat flavour of discover media and pro, same generic files
My new r has discover pro but it came without an sd card I know the nav sw is stored on the internal drive Hey guys, i have the original discover navigation (mib 1?) and it doesn't look like the maps have ever been updated I downloaded the discovercare application, which seemed to work ok at first
