I don't quite feel comfortable with giving that out though, because the other group practice that helped me set it up didn't ask for my password, they just told me what to do and then got my caqh number to access my information for the insurance companies without the password needed.

I was just offered a position as a pmhnp and i was asked to start a caqh profile I haven’t heard of it prior to this and i’m hoping someone can guide me with some of the requirements details. Why is it common practice/ required that i give my company my caqh account information if i'm well versed how to use it Just wondering why this is considered normal
I know how to keep track of it and update my practice location information when needed. When headway credentialed me, they signed me up in caqh proview I have a sign in and caqh number All that said.in order to credential/panel with insurance companies, do i need to do a whole new caqh profile, or is the one created when i joined headway sufficient

However, i don’t feel comfortable as they were completely unprofessional and straight up ignorant. All of it is so confusing I'm credentialed under several insurances and can see that i'm authorized in my caqh proview portal However, in therapynotes, there are times when i submit a note and it automatically sends it to my supervisor to sign off on it even though i'm a fully licensed clinician.
