Hey everyone, mapchart (website) version 5 is here
This is a huge update, so here we go The whole drawing engine has been rewritten from scratch This should make most maps load faster, and easier to work with Of course, as all major changes go, it comes with some caveats
⚠️ if you're uploading an older map configuration, you might find the legend is not quite in the right spot or the. You probably know mapchart because of not the best maps made in it, but i have done something not bad So after several months (because i was lazy to get south america done) i've finally done it The map of the gathering storm
I have started making it to just play around with it
I asked them to do a ck3 map In the past i have donated a small amount They do great job and provide a very nice tool that can be helpful to create a lot of educational material It was the first time i realized i could use it for my own fun.
In regard to adding your own svg files to mapchart to use, this is a project the devs are working on, but it is not currently a functionality available on the site. I'm asking since i know that mapchart is banned on this sub, and i'm considering participating in the future So, what could i use? A place to share content, ask questions and/or talk about the grand strategy game hearts of iron iv by paradox development studio.
