Also, i don’t see where their pricing is all that competitive when you factor in their shipping cost. So i'm browsing rockauto's catalog and for the most part, the categorizations of economy, daily driver, and premium should reflect increasing quality and price I've used them quite frequently

I've noticed shipping has gotten insane, but that seems to be across the board everywhere
I've only had two issues with rockauto orders, and one was the fault of the shipping company
The conversation was disparaging as the two mechanics were making comments about what a joke parts from rock auto are The parts sold by rockauto come from the same warehouses that supply the parts stores that those mechanics likely get their parts from. The local factory motor parts warehouse in eagan, mn is a rockauto partner My crankshaft sensors came directly from them
We use fmp almost exclusively at work, and i couldn't touch ra's price, shipping included, with my dealer pricing direct from fmp They really do keep costs low on some things. The problem with rockauto and warehouses is that if your items need to come from 3 warehouses then you pay postage for 3 shipments from 3 warehouses They have basically made their problem your problem and you pay for their problem
I always look at amazon where i get free shipping
But i do end up buying on rock auto for many parts A few years ago i bought a remanufactured engine for my jeep. That’s one thing i don’t like about rockauto is the shipping charges What sucks too is when you get two of the same thing one for each side or something like that and they list two different warehouses so it gives two different shipping charges.
271969649183092303 good through august 9, 2024 mods, please consider making this, an undated ra discount thread, a sticky. Has anyone had to return a part for warranty replacement through rock auto Who pays for the shipping to get the part to ra and the new replacement part sent back It looks to me like the consumer pays shipping
Is there any way to communicate with rock auto
I can't seem to find a phone number. Does anyone else feel like rock auto is cutting the price of there so called closeout parts and jacking up the shipping cost
