After display stops changing (wait 10 seconds to be safe), carefully press and hold the “calibrate” button until “cal 2” shows on the display The calibration process takes about 2 minutes and involves placing the smarttool in specific orientations and pressing the calibrate button when prompted to complete 8 calibration steps. Your smarttool level is easy to calibrate
If cal all appears on the display, smarttool™ needs to be calibrated through all eight calibration steps
We recommend checking calibration daily, after a rough fall, or if the temperature has changed by more than 20˚ f since the previous calibration. The instructions work for the module (as shown in the following pages), the 24”, or the 48” level You can refer to the “level bubble vial” instead of the “lcd display” if you are using a level.
