Thanksgiving has nothing to do with the pilgrims like american thanksgiving does so there isn’t really any national history to learn (yes it was started by colonists but we don’t have the same mythology of a big thanksgiving feast) It’s just a harvest festival where we take a day off to spend time with family and eat some good food.
