Patients are allowed to join the conversations, but threads to complain about your experience at walgreens as a customer are not allowed. All of this is true sure, but the really reason all of this is happening to walgreens in particular is declining profit margins/reimbursements on prescription drugs and pressure/money being sucked out of the pharmacies by the pbms, which is why walgreens is year over year losing market share and generally seeing declining profits. Wouldn't say it's the best job that ever existed, but i do take some pride in keeping a clean store, and like some aspects of dealing with the public.
