This option only appears if you have more than one calling app on your mac. Deleted facetime app, restarted iphone, reinstalled app When i try to call a contact i had no issues with before, it still says sign in to facetime with your apple id (which i am with icloud etc). We've had multiple apple devices and have never experienced any issues but now all of them are hit or miss if i want to make facetime call, regardless if it's video or audio.

If your facetime photos are not saving, you can try resetting the option
Go to settings > facetime and turn off the facetime live photos option After disabling that, restart the device After that, test it out to see if it works.
