I think 'sweet dreams my la ex' was written for britney around the 'in the zone' era, but she rejected it because of the lyrics 'la isla bonita' was offered to michael jackson but he turned it down, and whitney's 'how will i know' was offered to janet and she turned it down Janet also turned down 'i'm a slave 4 u' and 'boys', that ended up on the 'britney' album You had punjabi mc getting a huge hit and artists incorporating indian collaborators (anastacia's sick & tired being one of them)
