In the movie, we're never really given context as to why oogie hates jack and sandy clawz, though it is made clear from how jack talks about him when asking the three to not bring him that they have a history. Haven’t seen anyone else bring up this helpful tip for attending oogie boogie bash this year. But oogie boogie bash, and every other “after hours” event dl/ca holds, suffers from customer ignorance/false expectations rather than loss of quality.
