An introduction to computer aided design (cad) using software based on parametric solid modeling Explores the ethical dimensions of engineering and its impact on society. Students will use the software to create virtual models, show the models in various projections and views, manage the associated computer files, and produce engineering drawings.

Create and visualize drawing representations of 3d models using Orthographic, pictorial, sectional and auxiliary techniques. Introduces the basic design competencies and graphical solutions of spatial problems using basic engineering drawing principles.
