There's no option to enable device flow. i've updated the app to the latest version It has been around 18 hours Am i missing something here, or is it now impossible to use the device flow to authorize the cli for some instances?

3 for me, the same issue was fixed by using sfdx force:auth:device:login instead of authorizing via web login flow, i logged in using a device code
Also, check that your salesforce instance has salesforce cli properly installed.
Before anyone points that this question is repetitive, i would like to mention that i have tried possible solutions given in other similar questions like change application permissions to allow acc. However i then get the error
