Sure, you might lose some weight for the few days that follow, but you know what else you'll lose I don't count or restrict anymore, i don't think about food, and i am okay with what i see in the mirror. Your metabolism will go down, and with a low metabolism, you are prone to weight gain, so please do not become anorexic.

People can engage in anorexic behaviors and not lose weight / not lose a lot of weight
It depends on the person's metabolism and which behaviors they're indulging in.
As a recovered anorexic, the mindset felt so strong Each meal i missed gave me drive and power and seeing the numbers on the scale drop gave me such a high I was a walking zombie the entire time, consumed by it all Calories, what time i could eat, what bowl i would use
It started as a way of control and to hurt myself as much as other people had hurt me I didn’t feel deserving of food. Once i finally realized i was anorexic, i chose recovery, because it seemed like the sensible thing to do for someone who is anorexic Hell, i even went to pelvic floor physical therapy for a year because i was convinced i had chronic prostatitis (i'm a dude)
Within a month of weight restoration, that completely went away.
I’ve decided not to say/do anything based on the community’s opinion 2 years ago i started noticing her eating behaviors 1 year ago, i started confirming (internally) that she may have anorexia Today, its very apparent and i don't know how to approach my best friend re
I feel that a close friend of mine may be on her way to becoming anorexic I want to better understand her situation and where she is coming from and help her in any way that i can I have a few questions for those of you who are suffering with anorexia or for those who have overcome it What's it like on a day to day basis
What was the worst part about it
I’ve been diagnosed anorexic for a long time, didn’t binge for a decade (til i weight restored/recovered and binged in relapse after) but most anorexics do You should talk with a pro for a diagnosis and treatment following My binging was due to chronic malnutrition and extreme hunger How do anorexic people function
When i don’t eat enough, i get low blood sugar and i find it hard to concentrate and function enough to do anything And that’s just from skipping a meal, let alone if i hadn’t eaten for days or was subsisting for years on a very small amount of calories. You still think like an anorexic
