Leaky Bathroom Faucet

Faucet will not stop dripping no matter which way you try and turn it off Watched a number of videos that made it look fairly straightforward, but it looks like i might need something like a moen tool.

Water is also dripping underneath Trying to repair a leaky shower faucet Is something loose that i can just tighten or do i need to call in a professional?

If turning off the water didn't stop the faucet from leaking, it might need a new washer or even a replacement

I started by replacing the rubber gasket and spring ( picture attached ) that didn’t fix it

It’s hard to explain, but if i just push the handle (like a joystick) in the most down position possible, the faucet drips.

I have a moen wynford double handle widespread bathroom faucet that was installed about 3 years ago It's a high arc faucet I know these sort of faucets can have some residual water sitting on top the aerator when it's turned off When i test to see just how much it leaks i remove the aerator and dry out the spout with a paper towel
