Manitoba justice's private investigators and security guards program regulates the private security and private investigator industries in accordance with the provisions of the private investigators and security guards act. A person licensed to engage in the business of providing private investigators or security guards shall apply to the registrar in the prescribed form for the licence for each person employed by the applicant as a private investigator or as a security guard. 17 (1) a licensee engaged in the business of providing security guards must report to the registrar the following information in respect of each location at which the person agrees to provide security guard services:

19.1 (4) a person who is licensed to provide private investigators or security guards or registered as a security guard employer shall, in the prescribed manner and at the prescribed times, report to the registrar the hiring or termination of employment of a private investigator or security guard.
