After that i was able to have the user open edge and the extension worked. Now, bitwarden locks properly after i stop using bitwarden for at least 30 minutes. While browsing through the ms edge settings, i discovered that the “notifications” option was set to “block” for bitwarden

I am evaluating bitwarden as a potential replacement for my current password keeper
I have had this problem now for several weeks, and support only says this problem will probably be fixed in a future release. Whenever i click on the bitwarden icon to access my logon details for a particular website, the pulldown window pops out of the browser and i lose the ability to fill in the login information for that website by simply clicking on the corresponding entry inside bitwarden. I got around this issue by setting my bitwarden vault timeout to “30 minutes” (timeout could be set to any other hour/minute setting)
