Most people do run trading paints for sure, you also don't need premium to upload your own paints, so it's worth running it and trying out the free version for a while, before taking the plunge if you want premium later on.
When you start iracing and get into the car it will do it's thing and create a car_spec_yourid.mip
Upload your paint to trading paints When that is finished uploading, click the dropdown to the upper right side of the preview and choose add spec layer Upload the mip file created by iracing and you are good to go. The team owner will set the team paint in trading paints
If you go to my paints, select the car and scroll down you should see all the teams you are a member of. Trading paints doesn't need a login of any kind on your pc to work It simply looks in the session to see what accounts are in and downloads paints into the folder so they are loaded by iracing Make sure the service is running and isn't being blocked by your firewall.
Hello, recently i've noticed that other people's paints are not being updated
I can either only see their old paint schemes or only default iracing schemes I've tried reinstalling tp but it didnt fix the issue What else can i do to fix it? Have the trading paints app open
It will only apply while in the car or watching a replay I think it's only available if there's a paint available in the correct folder Have you downloaded trading paints and chosen a paint on their website If you have, perhaps you've not raced it yet or got the option set to clear up downloaded paints after a race?
I signed up and installed the software
I have trading paints running while playing the game and it says it is searching for a car When i enter a private testing session, i can’t see the livery i have assigned to the car online (in this case, a skip barber) Anyone else have these issues I feel like i’m just missing something obvious.
I downloaded the tp downloaded, then picked a paint for the bmw z4 gt3 and tp said i was now racing this paint and that it should load However, when i started a test session, the livery wouldn’t load
