Djarv, etc.) but none of them ever seem to be in stock anywhere since they are not mass produced
Anyone have any other recommendations for a decent price, light weight, nice thin. The gransfors bruks wildlife hatchet is a well known and reviewed tool which has a lot of well earned respect in the bushcraft community So, i got the axe and i must say, i was very disappointed when i took it out of the box. Hope this isn't heresy, but i plan on restoring an old plumb half hatchet for use as a camp ax

What i find interesting is how different the three are
Two are marked plumb, the other is marked collins The head design, thickness and. I would like to rehandle a small norlund hatchet and the handles i have looked at are too large Where can i find one sized for the bit?
Looking for an inexpensive sheath for my fiskars hatchet It doesn’t have anything but the cheap plastic one it came with It serves its purpose but i don’t think i would be comfortable packing it with that sheath Does anyone know of one that will fit

I've seen several people post around here about modding the fireman's hatchet into a small forest axe with good results These get pretty good reviews give. The plumb hatchet / western fixed blade knife combos with a single, shared sheath really bring the bucks I like and occassionally purchase vintage bsa equipment from that era even though i am not as old the stuff i am buying
Things like hatchets, sheath knives, and old packs with bsa logos are just cool to me. Where did it come from Is it some kind of takedown hatchet or something
