Okay guys after some experimenting i finally got a bronze golden trout Looks like you have to hook down a lot Caught it second cast and i used a #9 spinner keeping it close to the top and reeling in at a 2 speed Caught on the south eastern side of the pond casting north through the first set of lilly pads

The stardew wiki says trout have a 33% chance of having a golden ticket but i caught 42 rainbow trout in total (22 on day 1 and not a single ticket) and 20 on day 2 and i got 4 tickets in total So either the actual chances are heavily influenced by luck or the real number is only like 10% or something. I've been fishing with a nano spinner 1/5oz., #1/0 for about an hour and a half now and have accumulated well over 150 pounds of trout at rocky lake and have yet to pull out a single colorado golden trout
