To answer your question, i do not use usaa for insurance as they are more expensive for me then state farm You won't know until you get a quote from usaa if they are worth it. I recently shopped around for new insurance after my usaa bill on a honda passport skyrocketed to over $1500/year I’ve been driving for 22 years and have no accidents or traffic violations

I call and spoke with customer service and tried to explain to them what’s going on and the. I just got a notice of non renewal in the mail from usaa with the reason being a claim filed in 2021 (storm damage) and another in 2023 (water damage from a failed water heater) My wife has been a customer for 20+ years and we’ve had home insurance through them for ~15 years We’ve also got car insurance and credit cards through usaa.
