Rocket mortgage is a great lender but they charge really high rates through their direct to consumer channel
To them, they want to use their brand to increase margins. Can get you a lower rate with rocket mortgage than what you can get working directly with them. I called rocket mortgage yesterday and was offered 6.99% on a 30 year mortgage
