When i merge them in one view and try to sort by multiple sorting criterias, they are always sorted by the first one
If i sort by blog_date first, all blog type posts will appear and only after that post type posts will follow with their sorting criteria. If they share the same date field, you should just sort by that field descending and it should work perfectly If not, i think you should be able to add both to the sort one after the other and it should work. Drupal websites sometimes have a need to implement more advanced sorting logic than what's available out of the box
My goal is a single view that combines (a) multiple rss feeds brought in through the feeds module, (b) two or three content types of my own, for contant created manually on my site. My content type has a field type date with multiple values I'm trying to build a view using a sort criteria by this date field
