For years, taylor cutlery made the s&w knives and they would make 100s of different types & styles, from which s&w would select examples for production to be sold via the annual s&w accessory catalogs as official s&w factory knives Since then i have had to send to back to s&w for issues with (1) the take down lever (2) the back safety disabling the gun and now. The dozens of samples, all marked s&w not selected by s&w for factory sales, were dumped on the 2ndary.

Box the box is the usual blue hard case with foam padding This case does not and did not support the pistol adequately during transit but luckily this did not harm the pistol After reading some good reviews on the new 640 performance center black i decided to order one online As you can see from the pics i have a fondness for j frames
Just picked it up yesterday and hope to the range this weekend Here are my initial impressions Except in very few cases, actual production dates by serial number are not available Approximate production dates for postwar guns have been published, most notably in the standard catalog of smith & wesson

I am a long time s&w fan All my pistols are s&w products I can recommend them all except for the equalizer My equalizer was purchased in late 2024
