To that end, we’ve decided to officially end support for signing in to plex using a facebook/meta account
Support for signing in using facebook will end on monday, november 11, 2024 I just got a couple of new tv’s for my kids They are roku smart tvs When setting up the plex channel on them, there does not seem to be an option to use a link code from plex.tv/link the only options are to sign in with my google account
This is nearly impossible as my google account uses a super long random string of characters I am able to use the 4 digit link code on my fire tv I changed the password on my plex account, and while i can login on my players (shield tv, browsers) i can no longer see my server I assume because it needs the new password but i see no way to change the password on the server itself
I run the server on a windows nuc9

Just refresh your plex connection, literally that's it It looks like when plex added usernames to email only accounts it got weird Or something else happened, who knows I’ve seen far too many posts regarding “can’t connect to plex with no internet”, and an uprising/outcry always ensues
It eventually settles down, but the lack of single point resources can be frustrating
